The Amelia River-to-Sea Trail (ARTS Trail) is a scenic 3-mile paved, multi-use trail that stretches across Fernandina Beach, connecting the tranquil marshes of the Amelia River to the beautiful shores of the Atlantic Ocean. This smooth, 10-foot-wide path is completely separated from vehicle traffic, making it a popular destination for walkers, runners, cyclists, families with strollers, and anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors safely.
The trail winds through peaceful neighborhoods, sports complexes, and shaded coastal landscapes before ending at Crane Island Park, where visitors can enjoy a scenic boardwalk, maritime forest, and panoramic river views, or Beach Access 30 on South Fletcher Avenue, offering direct access to the sandy beaches of Amelia Island. Free public parking is available at both trailheads, as well as the Fernandina Beach Athletic Complex along the route.
